Tea Treasures

W

ell, I told you (I think) that apart from getting a new scanner for Christmas (which I absolutely love), I also got lots of other goodies. Not necesseraly all presents, but things that somehow came all to me around Christmas – a little collection of objects related to my passion for tea. So without further ado, here they are!

1. A new creamer (which I bought while doing my Christmas shopping and I hope you can see in the photo). 2. A pair of conservation jars that my brother brought me from England (and got lost with his suitcase in Amsterdam amidst the airport chaos in Europe).

3. A lovely blue tea box that me and my brother got my mum 13 years ago from London and she kindly let me have back. 4. A pair of hot drink glasses. I had an eye on them for some time now and I bought them on our 3rd visit to the store after a very vague argumentation to my husband of why we actually need them.

5. An enamel mug from my parents’ country house – it’s actually quite new, so I can use it, because the other one I got is rusty and not suitable for drinking from it. 6. And finally a simple jar with a black lid (another current obsession) from my parents-in-law basement for keeping cinnamon sticks in it!

I love them all and now I can have proper tea parties!

Oh, Masha, congrats on getting such lovely tea goodies! I'm glad there's someone else around who loves tea as much as I do.
