No Place Like Home

W

e spent the most wonderful day yesterday with our families at my grandmother’s house. I’m a bit sad that we couldn’t stay longer, but even one day was enough to fill me with energy – I love being with my family – they are so positive and we always laugh our hearts out because everyone has an unique sense of humour.

I also love the simple village life – being so close to nature, picking strawberries, taking a walk in the veggie garden in the afternoon rain, playing with the dog, sitting on the bench in front of the house and watching the sun set…

We used to spend our summers as children at that house and I have so many special memories and moments that I like going back to when I visit – like climbing on the pear tree by the west fence close to sunset time to enjoy the beautiful light over the forrest.

I picked these amazing plants from the village meadow – I called the arrangement plant art – I love the colours, love the leaves, love how it turned out.

Thanks, K. I also wish I could have taken some photos, but my husband had to leave the cameras. But I'm glad that my words left a "perfect image" in your mind. I think your imagination is much more vivid and rich that the rality. :)
